Faulty/damaged goods will be replaced free of charge for either a full refund or like for like replacement upon either the return of the item, or necessary proof, which will be decided at Ruby UK's discretion. Such goods must be rejected within 5 working days of either collection or delivery.
Goods supplied incorrect to order will be replaced by the correct goods upon return of the incorrect item.
In the event of a customer changing their mind or ordering the incorrect size, We are more than happy to accept returns for exchange/refund, but cannot refund any shipping costs in this scenario, as this is a cost that cannot be recovered. We will also issue an invoice to cover the postage costs of the replacement item. For items with free delivery, we will still require the customer to cover the costs of shipping, and there will be a handling fee deducted from refunds to cover the P&P costs incurred. This cost is variable based on the shipping costs of the item in question.
All dispatched items are thoroughly checked whilst wrapping for any faults. However, all be it very rarely, items can be damaged in transit. LEL Timber take the best precautions whilst packaging the items to ensure this doesn't happen, but in the unlikely event of an item arriving broken or damaged, do not sign for the item upon delivery, and contact us straight away. We will then decide the best course of action.
Please note that all delivery dates stated are worked out from expected delivery times provided by the courier. As we use third party couriers, we cannot be held responsible if an item's delivery is delayed, nor if workers have been booked to complete the work before the delivery has arrived. We advise waiting until the goods are in your hands before organising any workers. If a delivery is delayed, we will do our best to find out the cause of the delay and try to solve the problem.
In the event that an item is returned to LEL Timber as a failed delivery due to the absence of a signee upon delivery, or due to incorrect address details supplied, all costs will be met by the customer for re-delivery. Should this happen, LEL Timber will be in touch upon return of the failed delivery to ensure address details are correct.
PLEASE NOTE ALL OUR DESCRIPTIONS COME DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURERS AS ALL ITEMS ARE NEW. WE CANNOT MISS DESCRIBE THEM.
