Jane Churchill “Indian Summer” Pair Small and Lovely Curtains + Pelmet + Tie Backs
This pair of small lined curtains were professionally made in the 90s, hand-finished with no expense spared, for a small hallway window with a wood pelmet
Curtains (2): each measure 24”(61cm) wide x 38½”(98cm) long. Pencil pleat tape. (Hand-stitched. Lower turn-up of 3” (8cm) would allow some lengthening)
Pelmet: measures 34” (87cm) wide + the 2 sides each 4”(8cm). Longest depth 10”(25cm), shortest depth 6”(15cm). Velcro tape at top edge. Buckram insert and lined (Could be refolded to fit alternative width pelmet)
Tiebacks (2): each 13½” (34cm) wide unfolded x 2½” (6.4cm) deep. Buckram lined
Curtains dry-cleaned shortly before moving from previous home and
carefully stored since. Buckram-lined pelmet and tiebacks as original: could benefit from some cleaning
Fabric in excellent condition
Linings and back of pelmet have some discoloration and small marks as shown in photographs
I’ve tried to buy more of this apparently out-of-production fabric. Where available new it costs £96 per metre
