We've been using the excellent (though expensive) Nicolaudie GU2 and DE3 for years and have seen some wonderful lighting projects created, so when this budget version arrived we got really excited.

Sushi stands for 'Sunlite Universal Smart Handy Interface', basically a programmable DMX controller that has multiple channels and scenes. It is programmed by the 'Easy Standalone 1' software via its USB port and can either be used in live mode, or the program can be downloaded into its non-volatile memory for stand alone use.

Once programmed for standalone use, you can index between scenes by pressing the on-board button.

The Sushi-RB comes with 128 live channels and 12 standalone channels. Once the device is registered it can be upgraded to upto 512 channels.

The Easy Standalone 1 software and manual can be downloaded here:

Alternative software packages for Windows are Daslight DVC 1, Lumidesk or Sunlite Suite 2004. For MAC, Easy Stand Alone 2 (EUR 26.60 for 1 year's licence).

Please note that in standalone mode the Sushi will require a 5v USB power supply. If you require trigger ports, these can be activated after purchase for EUR26.60.
