IMPORTANT: A few words on shipping here, because a few people have unfairly dinged me on feedback recently. I ALWAYS ship within 48 hours, and 99% of the time within 24 hours of payment (there is no shipping on Sundays, sometimes Monday is a holiday, and sometimes we get hurricanes or blizzards in NY...contrary to the saying, rain & sleet & heat & gloom DOES sometimes stay those couriers). I ALWAYS insure the item to protect both of us. I ALWAYS provide a tracking number. And I ALWAYS do what I can to keep the shipping prices reasonable. That being said:
* Cheaper shipping means slower shipping. I keep it cheap because I like it cheap on the things I buy and I rarely need items immediately. However, if you want it quickly and are willing to pay the extra shipping, that can easily be done. When I offer free shipping, I use parcel post (which is slower), and that is mentioned in the listing (eBay requires it). Again, if you want to pay the additional cost for faster shipping, just let me know.
* Me taking it to the post office within 24 hours and the post office taking a week (or more) to deliver it is NOT slow shipping on my part. Again, if you want it quickly and are willing to pay the premium, just let me know. All I can do as a seller is take it to the post office quickly, after that it is out of my control.
* I insure EVERYTHING for full value. This protects both of us. However, if the box gets crunched or ripped, that is not bad shipping on my part. All items are professionally packed, and insured. That is all I can do as a seller...once I drop it off, it is out of my control. If something happens along the way, YOU are completely covered. I can't guarantee that nothing will happen, only that if something DOES go wrong that you are covered.
* Please add in extra time for anything crossing an ocean. Unless you are paying for priority shipping, there are many factors that affect shipping overseas, none of which I have any control over.
Most buyers are pretty reasonable, and I am happy to do whatever I can to accommodate buyers anywhere in the world. But If you do NOT agree with the above, please bid on/buy someone else's item and not this. I would rather take less money than deal with unreasonable expectations.
I take both buying & selling VERY seriously, as evidenced by a 100% feedback rating in more than 2,500 transactions over 15 years. But I do not have 100% control from my door to yours.
