This is a great sounding Mastergrade Lowden F35 Fan Fret with over 100 year old reclaimed Cuban Mahogany on the back and sides and an Adirondack spruce top. The custom Fan Fret option and comfortable armrest bevel make this a special instrument.
You'd be hard pressed to find a better sounding Lowden F style than this one with fan frets. The pro's of the combination Cuban/Adirondack is that it makes the instrument better suited for a more varied playing style including strumming. Besides that it is of course, like a true Lowden should, extremely well suited for fingerstyle and alternate tunings. The fan frets are a breeze to get used to and you'll notice that it makes playing easier.
This F-35 not only sounds powerful and balanced, but is also very expressive, subtile, charming and warm. There is no other guitar that can compare to this one on this planet as far as we're concerned.
Other features include flamed maple bindings on the body, ebony headstock overlay on the top and back, Lowden pearl logo, Rosewood bridge, abalone rosette, Gotoh gold 510 tuners with ebony knobs, 5-piece mahogany/rosewood neck and ebony fretboard. Includes hardshell case and certificate of authenticity. This guitar was made in 2012 but is still in near mint condition. Includes built in Highlander IP2 pickup.
