Tilley Lamp X-246 paraffin pressure lamp for restoration – DA/26Aii
Guaranteed vintage / antique!
I am selling a vintage Tilley Lamp model X-246 paraffin pressure lamp / lantern which looks complete, however is in need of restoration or could be used as parts. The lamp is straight out of a shed and onto eBay, so as you can see it is dusty / grubby from age use. Glass is present, but badly cracked, PLEASE NOTE that I can near guarantee the glass will be in pieces by the time it is delivered, so I am just classing it as free with the lamp. I cannot confirm if the lantern / lamp will work, so just selling for spares or restoration. Top cowl is rusted and paint is flaking off, glass is badly cracked, oil base vessel has scoring to the gold paint. Little Tilley label still remains though as does its carry handle.
Measures approx 13 ¾” high
as you see it and approx 6 ¼” in diameter at the base.
I am sorry but I cannot ship this lamp
overseas due to Postal and Shipping Regulations. I am happy to accept
bids from overseas buyers if you have a UK
shipping address or agent.

Payment
I can accept Paypal, postal order, personal cheque (GBP) or bankers draft. I
will also accept cash on collection. Please note that if you pay by cheque your
item will only be sent after the cheque has cleared. You will be sent an email
confirming the date of shipment. I am not able to accept euro cheques unless
arranged beforehand as I would have to pay an administration fee to the bank
which would have to be passed on to you the buyer.
Shipping
Items are sent via Royal Mail, some of a low value may be sent via standard
post whilst more expensive items are sent recorded or special delivery for
buyer peace of mind. Postage costs may vary depending on item size and weights
and also taking into account packaging costs. Parcelforce may also be used for
larger and heavier items. International buyers please contact prior to purchase
should you have any questions regarding postage costs as I only send items
abroad using Royal Mail International Signed For, postage rates vary from
country to country so please note these before bidding.
