A really amazing and rare miniature vase by Sevres c1848. Marked on the base S48, Sevres mark for 1848. The decoration is superb, please see the pictures as they form an important part of the description. The previous owner said it was actually one of a set of six eggcups, made for the larger goose eggs. He claimed to have owned the set at one time. 7cms tall x 6.5cms diameter.
