Postage and packaging costs are an accurate reflection of the cost of the actual service by which items are sent by and that of the packaging materials used. Unlike some sellers, we are averse to profiteering by charging exorbitant amounts to cover the costs of sending items to buyers. A high quality approach is taken to the packaging of items, as we know how important it is items reach their final destination intact. We are able to ship internationally; if a particular listing does not indicate this please contact us for shipping costs to your particular destination. Shipping costs will always be combined where possible.
Great efforts are made to ensure item descriptions are honest and accurate. Many of the items we sell have been acquired at auction, which helps to ensure the authenticity of pieces sold. If there is uncertainty as to age/period of a piece we may use ‘in the style/manner of’ to indicate this (as is common practice in the trade). As the majority of what we sell would be deemed ‘vintage’ as in ‘not new’, it is to be expected that that items may show signs of use commensurate with age. Also, it is understood that items may display production associated ‘flaws’, which if not significant may not necessarily be covered in the item description.

the unlikely event of there being an issue on receipt of an item, we
ask that you contact us immediately to advise to allow us to resolve the
matter as quickly as we can. Our
14-day return period is at our discretion and would normally only cover
items where there has been an error in the description.
