Antique early-20th Century Exquisite custom order leather wardrobe trunk, opens at a 30 degree angle to reveal a most unusual fitted interior, totally original. Quite possibly a unique piece, leather Louis Vuitton steamer trunks were always custom made for individual clients and cost significantly more to buy than the monogrammed canvas models. Only the finest hides were used and they had to be from a single piece to avoid any weakness and therefore ruptures over time.
