How to age wines and liquors:
To age wines or liquors, simply fill your Oak barrel with your favourite wine or liquor and store in a humid place where it is not exposed to sunlight or heat. The time required ageing a wine or liquor depends on your choice of taste. This can be anywhere from a few months to a maximum of three years. Ageing a wine or liquor in a barrel has the effect of transmitting the taste of our Charred White Oak to your wine or liquor. The longer you store a wine or liquor in our hand crafted barrel the more it will acquire the taste of the charred oak wood, and it will also acquire a darker colour.
Enjoy your brand new handmade oak wine/liquor barrel which has been carved from American white oak. Ideal for the home brew enthusiast and home bar.
