If you are searching for large flash drives, please, I beg you, KEEP READING or you will get scammed.

MOST 1 TB OR 2 TB DRIVES ARE FAKE. Don't believe me? Then just ignore this and I guarantee you'll get ripped off.

Already purchase one from me? Keep reading to see how to get your refund.  I don't even want the drive back.

I am leaving this auction listed in the hopes that other people who are searching for 1 tb and 2 tb drives see my auction so they know about the "fake drive" thing going around everywhere, mostly on eBay. It's only costing me .30 a month to keep this auction active so I may leave it listed forever just to warn people.

Here's my story....

I found a "too good to be true" deal on flash drives and thought that it would be an awesome money maker (from wish.com, China junk website. Not surprised.) They were selling 1 TB and 2 TB flash drives at an amazing deal of $19 each (OR LESS). I bought an extremely large quantity of them and I was selling them and making a nice profit. Then people started to complain that there was data corruption and missing files. I didn't think much of it and refunded people who said there was a problem in thinking it was just bad one from the batch. But when I got more and more complaints, I looked into it even further.

I had no idea this existed until now. FAKE FLASH DRIVES. Flash drives that reported to be 1 TB and 2 TB but were actually much, much smaller (as low as 4 GB). After 4 GB was copied, the drive was full. Or another scenario is data over-writes existing data. I did more research and found free software to test my flash drives. If you want to test your drive, you can Google search for fake flash drive tester.   I used FakeFlashTest, but McAfee misreports this as having a virus. Good ol' McAfee. So whatever one you use is your choice, but FakeFlashTest is the quickest.

After testing mine, sure enough, I was scammed. I spent over $1300 on drives to resell. Luckily I got all my money back (without sending anything back or even without question - they knew these things are fake!!!), and I do feel sorry for everyone out there who has corrupt data because of this scam.

I am keeping my auction up because I still have true 4 GB to 32 GB drives for sale, but in my auction title I have 1 TB and 2 TB because if someone searches 1 TB or 2 TB flash, I hope and pray they come across my auction first to warn them of this horror.

There's a video describing how the whole fake drive process works at:
rmprepusb.com/tutorials/-fake-usb-flash-memory-drives

In the video it even shows the EXACT packaging that I had.

Remember - If  it's too good to be true, trust your instinct. True 1TB flash drives exist but they cost over $500. The scam is not just for 1 TB and 2 TB drives. It could be ANY SIZE drive! And I'm not saying that ALL eBay auctions are fake, but there's an 99% chance that they are. Even if the seller has a positive feedback from the flash drives they have sold - doesn't mean a thing. I have positive feedback from mine... because people leave positive feedback when they receive their item before they get to use it fully. I bet if you asked that buyer now they'd say it's faulty.

Even EBAY posted a warning about them!

And another fabulous article regarding them:

Since I am an honest businessman, I went through every single customers who purchased a flash drive from me and let them know they may lose data, giving them the option for a refund. That's just the way I am. Just think though - how many other sellers would go through the trouble of contacting each and every buyer and asking them if they want a refund? If you received an email from me and want a refund, just initiate one through eBay here. This way I get reimbursed for fees as well.

I'm doing this out of the goodness of my heart to refund everyone. I could have easily pocketed the money or let it slide, waiting for you to contact me. Please use software to test your drive!

If you're interested in any of my other flash drives, feel free to purchase. The current listed drives are legit.

Want to show your support and thank me for leaving this auction up? There are several ways. The easiest way is to send me a "thank you" for informing everyone about this scam. I'd really want to see how many people actually read this in its entirety.

Another way is to purchase one of my books :)  I'm also a 'soon to be famous author.' Time Travel, Super Hero, Sci Fi! My books are listed in this auction. If you're a sci-fi fan, you'll love 'em!

Another way is to make a donation. The lowest amount I could put for a donation is $1. Sorry.

And finally, the last way is visit my most popular auction. If you love coffee and have a Keurig, you'll love my mix & match auctions.

 Here's the link:

From there you can mix and match up to 125 different flavors between three different auctions to make up your own variety pack.

Thanks again!
