This is a an absolutely GORGEOUS vintage EMERALD GREEN footed glass decanter! I purchased this decanter at an upscale estate sale as well as a few more from friends of mine that brought it back from Murano, Italy. It has BEAUTIFUL 3 DIMENSIONAL HAND PAINTED FLOWERS, AND LEAVES! You can FEEL the flowers! The decanter is EMERALD GREEN glass with a LOT of GOLD PLATED trim. It is ENCRUSTED with gold plate! The stopper is also gold plated. There are gold plated 3 dimensional scrolls and dots around the solid gold plated medallion and scrolls in the back too! The gold plate and scrolls have an interesting pattern on the sides so you can see the EMERALD GREEN glass! The decanter has TONS OF GOLD PLATE ALL AROUND IT and the neck and the stopper too! The decanter has ORNATE SCROLLS ALL OVER! The decanter measures 13" tall, 4 1/2" at the widest part. The base of the decanter has a gold plated foot too! The decanter is in really good condition with no cracks or chips and just a few small scratches. One very small places where the gold plate is worn on the stopper, and on the neck is a line depression that measures 1" long done when made. Both can be seen in the last two photos. I apologize for the photos as it is very difficult to take photos of gold plate as it reflects back. It is much more BEAUTIFUL in person.
