Click here to see all of our display standsThis is an exceptional specimen of "blue quartz" with gem-clear indicolite tourmaline crystals that have grown in and on a terminated quartz crystal. The indicolite crsytals are up to 1.3" long, and are striated lengthwise and fully to partially gemmy. The quartz crystal itself is terminated and lustrous, and appears blue due to the indicoltie inclusions. This is a remarkable specimen of the rarest color of tourmaline - indicolite blue, in an even rarer formation, where they are growing inside a quartz crystal.
