Painting of the Lead and the Swan by Constance Anne Parker (1921-2016), Sculptor, painter and printmaker. Constance was born in London and was a Student at the Royal Academy 1946-1951, winning four silver and two bronze medals. As well as the R.A. she also exhibited at the Royal Society of British Artists. She was a sitter for a painting held in the National Portrait Gallery by Leonard Rosoman, titled- The Meeting, Royal Academy of Arts . I have a number of Artworks by Constance, listed individually; to include paintings, drawings, etchings and woodcuts.

Beautiful painting on paper, circa 1940's. The painting is in very reasonable condition. There is some light age related toning, a few minor marks/blemishes to the surface, a small tear top centre edge and light crease to the paper edges. tape residue verso. unsigned.
