#1 - Max Crausaz  (1885-1969) – Swiss artist - Vagabond oil painting – DA/53Di

I am looking to sell a very nice oil painting on board which shows a vagabond in a park. The painting is by the collected Swiss artist Max Crausaz and is typical if his works, he painted quite a few similar artworks with the theme of vagabonds. It has been nicely captured and has writing to the back, however I cannot translate this. I can however see a date of 1953 (I think) from the time it was painted I presume. The painting is being sold just as you see it with no frame. The frame has been removed to enable worldwide shipping, to keep weight and size down.

Condition: Once reframed the artwork is ready to be displayed again as you see it. Painting looks to be in excellent condition as shown. There are a few little surface marks, however nothing to worry about. Also has a little wear / chipping to the bottom left hand corner and around the edges, however this would be hidden away by a new frame.

Measures approx. 13 ¾” high by 9 ¼” wide

I can accept Paypal, postal order, personal cheque (GBP) or bankers draft. I will also accept cash on collection. Please note that if you pay by cheque your item will only be sent after the cheque has cleared. You will be sent an email confirming the date of shipment. I am not able to accept euro cheques unless arranged beforehand as I would have to pay an administration fee to the bank which would have to be passed on to you the buyer.

Shipping

Items are sent via Royal Mail, some of a low value may be sent via standard post whilst more expensive items are sent recorded or special delivery for buyer peace of mind. Postage costs may vary depending on item size and weights and also taking into account packaging costs. Parcelforce may also be used for larger and heavier items. International buyers please contact prior to purchase should you have any questions regarding postage costs as I only send items abroad using Royal Mail International Signed For, postage rates vary from country to country so please note these before bidding.

Please note most of the items I sell are antique or vintage and as such have been around for many years, they will show signs of use & wear and whilst I will describe condition to the best of my ability, everyone has a different idea of condition.
