Extraordinary! Custom polished and super pure red Ruby Corundum display set!
These 2 ruby crystals were once one crystal with the smaller ruby naturally attached to the larger ruby! When the smaller ruby became detached upon being mined it left a contact key as you see in the photos. After they were mined, the outer surfaces of both rubies were polished. Because they were polished, the smaller ruby no longer fits tight like a puzzle piece in the key that it detached from in the larger piece, but instead, it rests loosely in the key it detached from. These two together make a wonderful rich ruby display that would be an awesome addition to any crystal, gem or ruby collection!

The keys in the larger ruby are simply wonderful and were left completely natural and unpolished. They look amazing and add to the beauty of this stunning ruby set!

The larger ruby measures 2 1/2 inches by just over 2 inches by just shy of 2 1/8 inches. The smaller ruby measures just shy of 7/8 of an inch by just over 5/8 of an inch by just shy of 5/8 of an inch. All measurements are at their widest points.
Amazing size! Together they weigh 3/4 of a pound (.76)! The larger ruby alone weighs .74 of a pound. A super rare heavy size for a solid ruby!
