Description: This is a 19th C. Qing [Ching] [Ch’ing] Dynasty Chinese silk embroidered white collar with decorative multi-colored fringe. Characteristics include delicate embroidery of satin and couched gold metallic thread depicting an outdoor garden scene, cut-outs to show the robe underneath, netted & tasseled fringe with metal disks to reflect the light, and tea-trade ribbon detailing. This collar is lined in white silk. It should be noted that some of the metal disks are missing and some soiling has occurred (see photos).
