The kits comes with:
2 X Carb bungs
2 X Exhaust bung set
(If you are using larger carbs then send me a message, I can do carb bungs for ANY carb once I know a few dimensions. I already have a bung for PWK 33/35 carbs and Mikuni TM 36/38's)
The rubber seal is placed in the exhaust port followed by the plastic disc. The exhaust flange is then fitted to hold the rubber seal and plastic disc in place. Once tightened up, the exhaust port is now sealed. The carb bung is fitted in the reed valve rubber and the clamp is tightened up. Make sure a spark plug is fitted in the cylinder head to create a seal there. Using a foot pump, air is pumped into the carb bung, therefore pressurising the crankcase. A paintbrush, and some soapy water can be used to reveal leaks in the crankcase, that may be causing running faults, as bubbles will be present where the pressure is escaping.
Aim for the crankcase to hold 6 psi for 6 minutes, leaks quickly become apparent with this kit.
