VINTAGE 1950s 11" HARD PLASTIC ROSEBUD GIRL DOLL

This lovely hard plastic girl doll was made by Rosebud, although she only has 'Made in England' moulded into her back. She has blue sleeping eyes (that are stiff and do not work without assistance), moulded eyelashes, auburn hair styled into pigtails, rosy cheeks, lips and hand backs, and is fully jointed. She is a non-walker doll. She is wearing what we believe to be her original dress and knickers, although they are unmarked. She as modern replacement socks and shoes. We believe her to date from the 1950s.

Condition: Overall in very good condition, with some wear. As is mentioned above her sleeping eyes are very stiff and do not work without assistance. Her stringing is a little loose. She has a few grubby marks. Her dress has some age-related wear and discolouration. The apron at the front has a small hole. The dress is missing its fastenings at the back and is secured with a pin.
