Revmax Performance Converters

09D TR60SN OEM Updated Valve Body VW 2006-2007 VW Touareg V10 TDI

Are you having transmission valve body issues? Well, you have come to the right place! RevMax is the industry leader in both high performance and rebuilt OEM replacement valve bodies. There are a lot of other competitors out there offering rebuild valve bodies and sometimes it may seem hard to differentiate what?s what and why ours may be a little bit more expensive than some, but there are a lot of reasons.

RevMax has been offering high quality computer dyno tested valve bodies for almost a decade. All of our technicians have undergone extensive training and are the best in the industry. Unlike our competitors, we do not do any reaming or valve oversizing by hand. Each and every valve body we rebuild is machined on our state of the art Haas CNC milling machines, just like the factory did when they made the valve body originally. These CNC machines cost over $100k each! By the use of these machines, we eliminate human error that is very common when valve bodies are machined by hand. The precise alignment of the reamer to the bore is nearly impossible to get perfect by hand and this is where our CNC machines thrive. We use a Rennishaw probe to dial in each valve body to the reamer prior to the valve being cut. This allows us to be within .0005? within the original centerline of the bore. Hand reaming is lucky to keep .002? tolerances. Being off by just .001? can cause valves to stick and side load and ultimately lead to complete transmission failure.

Each RevMax valve body has a predetermined protocol that is followed for each valve body type. This protocol insures that the customer gets the highest quality product each and every time. We do not just go thru and replace what is bad on each specific valve body, instead, a standard protocol is followed that replaces all known failure prone parts, even if they are still in good working order. In addition, we then check over the entire valve body to make sure that non problematic areas are in good working order and if not, we repair these areas as well.

RevMax has proprietary technology and workflow processes that make our product superior to the competition. We also have the industries best testing equipment. To start, we vacuum leak test each and every valve body after cleaning. After the valve body is assembled we test the solenoids independently to verify both hydraulic and electrical functionality equal that of a brand new solenoid. Finally each valve body is dyno tested on one of our fully computerized valve body dyno machines. The results are compared against a brand new valve body and the data is then stored and available to be viewed by the customer if requested.

This transmission valve body assembly fixes and cures the many shifting complaints with a worn out valve body. The most common of which are: delayed engagements, harsh engagements, flair shifts, delayed shifts, harsh upshifts, harsh downshifts, slippage in gear while driving and trouble Codes associate with gear ratio errors. Our transmission valve bodies are designed to be installed by a professional automotive technician.

Additional Information

  • What makes a RevMax product better?
    • Quality: We do not use any overseas made items in our converters, all of our parts and components are made in the USA. We do not use any substandard or cost cutting cheaply made parts in our converters!

    • Testing and Quality Control: We put our product thru the most rigorous testing. We check each unit for overall hub runout, then the converter is pressure tested to insure that it is sealed perfectly, and finally the unit is inspected for internal end play. These tests insure that you receive the highest quality product each and every time!

    • Custom Made: We do not stock off the shelf one stall speed fits all converters!! We custom make each and every converter to YOUR SPECS. The stall speed and STR are customized to your application, this gives you the very best performance out of your torque converter. All converters are made in house at our plant, no offshore labor is used in our products!!

    • Like for Like: Only one piece solid billet covers are used at Revmax! Please compare us and you will see that we offer the best converter you can buy at the fairest price!

    • Build Time: We pride ourselves on producing and delivering our product promptly. Over 90% of our converters are custom built within 3-5 Business days of ordering and then immediately shipped out to you. • Experience: We have over 15 years experience in the transmission performance industry. We know what you need and what you do not. Simply call us we can usually recommend the perfect stall and combination for your application right over the phone.

  • Why is our pricing lower than our competitors, sometimes by 50% or more?
    • First, we do not have any large distributors reselling our products at an artificially higher price point. We want the consumer to get the absolute lowest cost on our products. By cutting out the middle man, the consumer can see a much lower price. All of our items must be ordered directly through us, which in turn gives us complete control of the price our customers pay.

    • The second main reason that we can offer such a low price is controlled advertising. You will not find our ads in big magazines, trade shows, forums or events. This is the largest cost most “big names” pay for and pass down to the consumer. We strictly rely on word of mouth advertising, and we feel that we do not need to advertise elsewhere as our customers do it for us. Our product quality quite literally "speaks for itself".

  • Industry Leading Equipment
    • The equipment that is used to manufacture and machine your torque converter is also MADE IN THE USA! In fact, the equipment we use is widely known as the best in the industry, and at a cost of over $250,000.00, no costs were spared!

  • Shipped With Care
    • Each converter is then shipped to you in a heavy-weight custom manufactured box. Each box is filled with a high-density foam blend to secure the torque converter.
