the shiki810 is a schnabel car built by nippon sharyo for toshiba international in 1996.....the wagon carries a payload of 150 tons at 45 kph.....when traveling without a load, the collapsed shiki can be towed at 75 kph and weighs 70 tons.........

without question, the three microace ace versions of the schnabel car - a8570, a8574, and a8575 - are the most revered freight cars in japanese n scale model railroading..

i acquired this shiki810 model from a brick and mortar shop in japan who was selling a variety of microace sets that were his "over the counter" inventory, as he described them - totally new , never sold....i procured a couple of sets for my personal layout and this schnabel car set.....
