This pendant was matched with the chain at some point however it is a nice match, the chain is well made and is an antique although not as old as the pendant. The pendant is beautifully made with an openwork scroll design that is brightened with natural emeralds and pearls. The emeralds are foiled at the back and have a consistent and bright green color across the piece. There are no chips to the emeralds and no wear to the foiling. The pearls are all intact and original to the piece without any wear and the pendant is very fresh looking. Overall this is a finely made and detailed, emerald and pearl pendant necklace, that was made in Austro Hungary during the early Victorian era that is in Excellent condition.
