PAIR OF ANTIQUE VICTORIAN DOLLS HOUSE MINIATURE BENTWOOD ARMCHAIRS

This lovely pair of antique miniature bentwood armchairs would make lovely display pieces for small antique dolls or figurines, or would sit happily in a larger dolls house. They are difficult to date, but we would estimte them to date from the late nineteenth century. The frames and bases of the chairs are painted / stained black and the chair seats have a fabric covering.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The chairs have some manufacturing flaws as might be expected from hand-made items, and they do difffer slightly. They are a little misshapen. One chair does not sit flat. The seat fabric is dirty, discoloured and frayed, and both the chairs have a small hole in the seat. One of the chairs is damaged to the seat surround.
