This is an aftermarket bracket manufactured out of industrial high strength nylon and is a direct replacement for the standard MSA PELI helmet torch and comes complete with a Firelight Cree Q5 LED adjustable zoom torch manufactured to my own specification.
I've now sold over 100 and have had completely positive feedback so please check it out for an unbiased view. The bracket can be supplied in black or white nylon please specify the colour you require when ordering otherwise I will supply a random colour.
The torch is designed to use a standard 3.7v 14500 rechargeable battery (not included) it will also happily run on one standard AA battery (not included) but obviously will not be as bright. It is easily removable from the bracket (without the need to remove the bracket from the helmet) for use as a standard torch. The beam can be adjusted from a wide pattern to a narrow beam.
The advantages over the standard PELI MSA torch fitted with an XP xenon bulb are:

The dimensions are 100mm x 40mm x 30mm the MSA PELI dimensions are 180mm x 48mm x 48mm
Light intensity:
When fitted with a 14500 battery the light intensity is a maximum of 300 Lumens the MSA PELI torch is 32 Lumens*
Weight:
The standard MSA PELI torch and batteries weigh approximately 195 g*. The combined torch, bracket and battery weighs approximately 85 g
Cost:
A replacement MSA PELI torch can be as much as £189**
Battery use:
The MSA PELI torch use 4 AA batteries this torch is designed to run on one rechargeable 14500 battery
You should note that this torch is not intrinsically safe and is deigned to work in a normal environment it may not be suitable for compartment firefighting. The torch is water resistant and is not designed for gross liquid immersion.
You are buying one torch and one bracket only.
