Like new - A book that has been read, but looks new. The book cover has no visible wear, and the dust jacket (if applicable) is included for hard covers. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins. May have no identifying marks on the inside cover. No wear and tear.

Very good - A book that has been read and does not look new, but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the book cover, with the dust jacket (if applicable) included for hard covers. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins.Very little wear and tear.

Good - A book that has been read, but is in good condition. Minimal damage to the book cover eg. scuff marks, but no holes or tears.Binding has minimal wear.The majority of pages are undamaged.No highlighting of text, no writing in the margins, and no missing pages.

Acceptable - A book with obvious wear.May have some damage to the book cover but the book is still completely intact. The binding may be slightly damaged around the edges but it is still completely intact. May have some underlining and highlighting of text and some writing in the margins, but there are no missing pages or anything else that would compromise the readability or legibility of the text.
