Check the item title for light, medium, high quality and heavy.  Heavy & high quality blankets last 10-20 years. Medium blankets last 5-10 years. Light weight blankets last 1-5 years. For longer use wash in cold water gentle cycle and dry low heat or sun dry. This one is light weight.
