Blue fire is an earthenware tableware from Rörstrand,
created by ceramist Hertha Bengtson . The color combination was unique and the
idea behind it was that everything they ate and drank was white, while blue was
reserved for plates, pitchers, bowls and platters. Other less common colors of
the tableware is gray, green and red. Production began in 1949 , the
breakthrough came for tableware 1950. It was produced until 1971.
