REGARDING MEASUREMENTS ON CLOTHING:

The waist measurement is taken at the top of the fabric and not laid across the waist band. Waist sizes are almost always within an inch of the stated measurement. The hip and thigh measurements could vary from the specified measurement up to three or four inches, depending on how far you pull the legs and fabric apart and where you take your measurements from.
