Ron Post is a full time custom knifemaker and trapper.  His design focus in the knifemaking area is very practical designs that can be used by all outdoorsman, fisherman, hunters and bushcrafters.

The Nessmuk model is not one of Ron's normal styles.  He had a request to make the knife and made both a long and short version.  Both versions are similar to the design outlined in the book by George W. Sears, Woodcraft and Camping.

The blade design is 'Nessmuk style', the steel is ATS 34, 5/32's thickness and flat ground. The sheath is fitted to the knife and made by Ron's wife, Barb.

These are hard use knives that Ron has been able to marry, form, function and fit into a very nice package.
