FULLY TESTED for playback and record on hard disk and on both DVD-R and DVD+R media, including direct recording to DVD as well as recording to hard disk and copying to DVD. Disks finalized and tested on a standard inexpensive DVD player with no playback issues. All testing performed with a Logitech Harmony 650 universal remote, all functions accessible with this remote model.
DVD RECORDING COMPATIBILITY NOTE: To play back any DVD recorded on this device requires finalizing the disk. Any DVD recorded on this device will play back on the device itself without issue. To finalize the disk requires either an OEM compatible remote control to access the menu functions of the recorder, or an advanced universal programmable remote such as the Harmony line by Logitech.
