WHY AM I SELLING THIS SCOPE LIKE THIS

I have a large number of Tektronix 465, 465B, 468, 475 and 475A scopes that mostly came from the now defunct Hughes Aircraft 
factory here in Southern California. I know that I will never get around to refurbishing these magnificent instruments 
like they should be. So, I am offering them on eBay at less than I paid for them. They may have cracked or missing knobs, 
cracked or missing feet, missing hub caps, in need of paint, with original gummy labels and in need of calibration.

If you are lucky, there will be a trace visible but this is not guaranteed. These scopes are being offered at a low price so 
you can have the fun of refurbishing it like I have been doing. These magnificent older scopes were state-of-the-art when 
they were built. Their heyday has passed but they are still fantastic pieces of equipment and well worthy of being refurbished.

I originally was going to select a scope, any scope from my inventory, and send it on to the purchaser. However, if there 
is a particular 4XX model of scope you are interested in let me know and I will try to get that one. If there is a particular 
4XX model you are interested in please mention your wants in the PayPal message box when you make your payment. Or, you can

PACKING AND SHIPPING

Pick up in Tustin, California is encouraged and at no additional charge. If pickup cannot be arranged then buyer agreees to pay 
a professional packing fee of $17 per scope plus actual shipping to destination. FedEx Ground is the preferred shipping media 
for shipments in the CONUS but, I would be happy to ship UPS or USPS, buyers choice. I will also ship on your account or, you can 
snail mail me a prepaid shipping label. Do not try to e-mail a prepaid shipping label as it cannot be reliably scanned at the 
receiving station. Shipping on your account can only be to your registered location, not a secondary location. Overseas shipping 
will carry additional shipping fees. I use USPS Air Parcel Post for all overseas shipping. However, there is no tracking number 
available when using USPS Air Parcel Post.

PAYMENT

I accept cash (for local pickup only), money orders, cashiers checks, PayPal and personal checks. Personal checks may delay shipping 
until check clears my bank. Credit cards are not accepted, unless through PayPal.
