This is an original 1913 tipped in duotone mini poster, designed by Edward Penfield as Cover design for Holland Sketches by Edward Penfield (1907). The tipped in mini poster image is about 4.5" x 6" it is attached to a medium weight carrying sheet that includes the title of the piece as well as the designer and date of original publication.
This exceptional "mini poster" was removed from a 1913 retrospective collection of late 19th century and very early 20th century art advertising posters. Please note that as a "mini poster" it is but a fraction of the size of the original poster; however, its powerful designs and clear advertising message makes it a highly collectible piece for those interested in modern design history, as well as any poster collector or popular culture enthusiast. This item is not a modern reproduction or copy, it is an original 1913 print.
A laser-printed facsimile of the copyright information as it appeared in the original book will be included, on a peel-off , self adhesive sheet. Purchasers who frame their pictures frequently affix that copyright statement to the back of the frame.
