Here for auction is one Goodmans Maxim LoudSpeaker SPEAKER
Complete, totally original and working perfectly in a Teak veneer cabinet
Designed by Ted Jordan, the Maxim was the first ever "mini-monitor" on its release in 1965
Classic British HiFi from the golden era of the 1960s
Surprisingly good sound from such a compact source!

Full frequency range Infinite Baffle design

The Maxim contains two Goodmans custom-made Loudspeaker Units: a tweeter and a woofer [with an enormous alnico magnet] and a crossover mounted behind a metal [steel] fascia plate
This one dates from about 1967 and was made by Goodmans at their Axiom Works in Wembley, England, UK
Frequency Response: 45 Hz -20,00 Hz
Impedance: 15 Ohms, connector terminals are screw-in type, nickel plated
Teak veneer finish

CONDITION: In excellent working order; with some small damage to the woodwork: see photos
