It focuses on an author who suffers severe writer's block and delusions at an isolated lake house four years after the death of his wife. It won the Bram Stoker Award for Best Novel in 1998, and the British Fantasy Award in 1999.

CONDITION

In a green cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally smart, with just some bumping. Dustwrapper is smart, with just some slight rubbing. Internally, firmly bound. Front hinge is a little strained. Pages are bright and generally clean, with just some foxing to the fore-edge. Overall: NEAR FINE in a FINE dustwrapper.
