The watch is in a refurbished used condition with all step taken to avoid water penetration but the rating give to the watch is (x) meters which is not for swimming in the case of a 30 meter case a quick immersion may compromise a 3 ATM watch cases rubber water resisting orings Eg . If the watch is worn and you dive in a pool the surface tension of the water makes the pressure at impact usually over 30 meters where if immersed slowly there may not be a problem with water penetration. Watches with water resistant ratings over 30 meters are respectively expected to with stand the relevant water depth bars Neglect or misuse – Please send the watch back to us for a battery replacement within one year there will be no charge for the battery replacement but postal charges will apply.
