Here we have a fabulous original official on-site boxing fight poster for the WBC/IBF World welterweight championship unification title bout held at the Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, 18th September 1999.

After seven defences of his Lineal/WBC welterweight titles, De La Hoya fought rival IBF Champion Felix Trinidad (35-0) on September 18th 1999, in one of the biggest pay-per-view events in history, setting a record for a non-heavyweight fight. Oscar dominated the vast majority of the first nine rounds, battering Trinidad's face with blistering combinations. But in the last 2-3 rounds, heeding the strict instructions of his corner who felt that De La Hoya was way ahead on the scorecards, De La Hoya shut down his offense and evaded trading with Trinidad. De La Hoya virtually gave away the last couple of rounds. Though landing with 100 more punches, Trinidad was ultimately awarded a controversial majority decision.

This is an original poster.....this is not a bogus German/UK re-print.

We here at KOfightposters.com are the only bonafide boxing memorabilia fight poster supplier in the UK. We do not sell or deal in re-prints, a original boxing poster has a value, a re-print is worthless. We will never knowingly trade or pass off such items, UK ebay is infested with this re-print rubbish, it may suit some, but to us any knock off is nothing short of a joke, all we can say is that to possess an original boxing poster is to possess something unique, always remember, time flies by, and today's original posters are tomorrows classics.
