A Stereo 1st pressing from 1965 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1/1. Stamper 1-AD/2-GL. Very importantly this pressing has the distinguishing feature only found on a true 1st press - The track 'I need you' - the asterix is found on the right side instead of before the track - as on all later copies. The Lp comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse Stereo cover with original Emitex inner sleeve.

Vinyl (Ex+) Looks in fantastic condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we can barely see a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with top-level clarity and barely any interference. Apart from a couple of light static crackles in 'Yesterday' - a notoriously fussy track there's very little even vaguely noteworthy. Playback really is astonishingly good and you will really struggle laying your hands on anything that could even remotely surpass this one.

Cover (Ex-) In great condition with that iconic front cover shot almost totally untouched and importantly free of fading. The rear is in good condition too just some light ageing creeping in on the right hand side. Otherwise, this cover is in remarkably good shape. Edge wear is minimal with just the slightest touch on the spine. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.

Inner (Vg+) No splits, just a bit of light ageing.
