Hasselblad 500ELM
I love motor drive Hasseys.  That clunk/whir sound and the feel -- The first Hasselblad I ever owned was a motor drive (500EL) and now I have,  well, too many according to the wife (and logic).  I picked this one and the other one up recently because I just couldn't pass them up.  But now it's time to get them a new home. It comes with the camera body, the waist level finder, and nothing else.

Condition:

This camera is not a shelf sitter, it's been used.  Still, it's in pretty nice shape considering.  I put a battery in it, and it cycles through -- The mirror moves, the rear flaps open, and when I put a lens on it fires the shutter in the lens like it's supposed to.

I ran a roll of film through it to make sure it feeds properly, and it did.  If you are new to Hasselblad, you will need a film back, a lens, and a battery to make a complete camera.  The original batteries are horrible, in my opinion, and I use a 9-volt battery converter.  There are people selling them here on eBay, search for Hasselblad 9 volt battery converter (there are a couple of options, about 20 bucks).

Please examine the photos for condition. I have no control over what back, what lens and what battery you put in this, and it's a vintage camera -- so there's no way I can put any kind of warranty on this.  Old cameras like this should be given a CLA (clean/lube/adjust) by a competent Hasselblad tech.  But I've had good luck just using them as is.

RETURNS

I list all my auctions no-return because I'm just an independent photographer/collector not a store.  I have perfect feedback selling on ebay for 20 years or so because I'm honest, and I will work with you if something goes wrong.  But people who return things just because they didn't know what they were buying or change their mind make it impractical for people like to me to sell things out of their collection if they enable the automatic return system eBay has in place.  It just costs us too much.

Ask questions before you buy, and if you think there may be a problem send me a general message before open a case.

OFFERS:

Feel free to make an offer, but I'm not in a hurry and I'll leave it up here till I get a reasonable amount.
