A very nice, never used, test run only, Lionel 81284E Frosty the Snowman Die-Cast LionChief 0-8-0 Steam Engine w/ Tender for O/027 gauge 3-rail made in 2014/15. 

The engine features a "maintenance free" can motor, traction tire, LionChief Remote control, puffing smoke unit, headlamp and sounds to include Whistle, Bell, Announcements and engine chuffing. The sounds do not require transformer controls to activate as these are activated using the remote.

The LionChief engine can run on any 3 rail track and can use either AC or DC power.  Just put the transformer throttle full on and control everything from the remote.  That said, the engine does require the remote to run, there is no "conventional option".

I briefly tested this beautiful engine & tender on my layout and the motor, smoke unit, headlamp, remote functions and all sounds all worked great!

I regret I do not have an original box but the engine comes in original set foam with a copy of the instructions and I'll wrap & pack all parts with care prior to shipment.  Also includes the LionChief Frosty remote controller, a small bottle of smoke fluid and a replacement traction tire.

I will ship the day after I receive payment and I will discount shipping charges for shipments I can combine. Shipping is a little higher than my normal given the over 3.5 lbs that the engine & tender weigh (before packing).
