Pulsar is a sub brand of Seiko. The Pulsar G10 was issued to members of the British Armed Forces from the early 2000s up until at least 2014. These watches consist of issue dates 2002 (x1),04 (x2) 09 (x5)- if there is particular year you would like please let me know and you will receive it if it is still available, otherwise a randomly selected one will be sent out.

They have fully military issue markings on the back as follows

-> "Broad arrow" denoting Ministry of Defence/Crown property.
The stock code 6645-99 comprises 2 parts:
6645 is the NATO equipment code for a Time Measuring Instrument
99 is the NATO UK country code.
The number beneath is the item number which refers to this particular model of watch.
The 5 digit number beneath that is the serial number of the watch and the two digit number at the bottom, the year of issue.

BELOW IS A BIT MORE ABOUT THE PULSAR G10

The stainless steel matte case measures 36.5 mm in diameter and 7.5 mm thick. The lug-to-lug measurement is 41.5 mm and the lug width is 20 mm. The case is larger as compared to the bezel. The bezel itself measures 34 mm in diameter. The lugs are straight and it has has fixed bars, which is common for military issued watches.

The crown is at the 3 o'clock position. It measures 4 mm in diameter and is 3 mm thick. The crown is polished and it is unsigned. It is easy to use as it is large and there is a 'notch' on the case to facilitate grasping of the crown. The crown has three positions, 'in' for normal use, position 1 (pulled out) for quick date adjustment and position 2 (pulled out further) for time adjustment.

Takes the widely available 370 size battery.

Unlike standard watches, which are fitted with typical rubber gaskets, this watch is fitted with a Teflon gasket. This makes removal and installing the case back easy. The markings on the case back includes the NATO Stock Number (which is 6645-99-605-2627), the broad-arrow and the issue number/date. Other markings on the back are the 'Pulsar' signature, movement number, stainless steel and water resistant.

The Pulsar G10 is powered by the Seiko 7N32C 1 jewel 3 hand movement with date complication. This movement is 10.5 ligne and 2.57 mm thick. Hand size 65/110/20 and date at 3 o'clock. This movement is sourced from Seiko Time Corp. This is a 9.5 ligne movement. It is 2.5 mm thick.

PHOTO OF MOVEMENT;

The dial is matte black. It has the railroad track minute marker. The hours are marked with Arabic numerals except for the 12 o'clock marker which has the traditional triangle and at 3 o'clock due to the date window. The dial is uncluttered and it makes reading the time easy. The dial is signed 'Pulsar' just below the 12 o'clock triangle. Below the 'Pulsar' sign, we find the 'L' inside a circle. This indicates the type of luminous material used, in this case it is Luminova. Just above the 6 o'clock marker we find the legend 'Quartz' and in small print below the 6 o'clock marker, we have '7N32-OBK4 R2'.

The date is displayed via a cut-out at the 3 o'clock position. There is a white outline around the cut-out to enhance the window. The date is black numbers on white back ground. All the numbers are luminous as are the the hours dots and the rectangles at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, the lume is very bright.

The hands are of the needle design. The hands are white coated to reduce the reflection. The sweep second hand however, is polished stainless steel, with a lume dot just before the needle ends.

All the hands are luminous. The minute hand extends all the way to the minute markers and the sweep second hand is just as long. The hour hand extends to the Arabic hour markers and this makes telling the time at a glance easy as the hands are sufficiently differentiated by length.
