What a great start to your project! This is an AllParts maple neck with Pearl inlays. It has binding around the perimeter of the neck. The feel of these necks is superior as is the construction and look. Maple is known for its superior tonal qualities and playability, and this neck is no exception! These necks are really top quality and I prefer these as a replacement neck because they play great, are constructed well and are made with quality aged woods. Why buy a used neck that may have been removed from a bass because it was not playing well? BRAND NEW! Crafted in Japan by skilled craftsmen.
The width at the nut is 1 1/2". The heel is 2 1/2" at the base, and a 10 inch radius. The truss rod works well and easily adjusts for the relief that you need for great action. It is located at the heel like the traditional necks. Really great feel! What you get that you won't get anywhere else:
