GOLFBASE / Golfshoesdirect is an online extension of our on course golf shop at Willingdon Golf Club. We are an established professional golf shop with over 12 years experience and sell a wide range of golf equipment, clothing and accessories. Our staff has 3 PGA Approved Professionals available for any technical advice needed, we also have a full time Retail Manager who helps ensure we source the best possible deals from the manufacturers and pass them onto you the customer. 

Our standard opening hours are Mon - Fri 8am - 6pm and Sat from 9am - 12 Midday, please feel free to call us on our helpline 01323 483777 with any enquiries. 

GB/GSD takes pride in our levels of customer service and all orders are packaged and posted either on the same day or at worst the working next day, we send our items via private courier, Royal Mail Tracked or using Royal Mail 1st class delivery, both recorded and non. We try to ensure all our items are delivered as fast as possible and an offer tracking facilities where necessary or required.

DELIVERY TIMES

Our standard Royal Mail 1st Class seviced deliveries AVERAGELY take 1-3 working days to arrive to a UK address. Please note Royal Mail state that this delivery service can take upto and including 15 WORKING DAYS to arrive and it is not before that date that we can deem the item/s lost in the post.

IF YOU NEED YOUR ITEM FOR A VERY SPECIFIC DATE (by the weekend, Birthday, Christmas etc) THEN WE ADVISE FOR ASSURANCE YOU CHOOSE A GUARANTEED SERVICE UPGRADE.

Any Next Day service should arrive the next working day after processing (Allow 1 WORKING day for processing)

Please note some more remote areas within the UK may not be eligable for our standard UPS or Royal mail service and therefore we will contact you to offer other postage options, sadly some of these options may require an upgrade in service and extra funds from you as the customer, you can of course cancel your purchase if this does not suit you. - You will receive emails from UPS to let you know the progress of you item if you provided us one at the time of sale.

Items sent Royal Mail 1st Class Recoreded/Non Recorded Delivery:

- If you are not in to sign for your item the postman will leave you a red collect from local depot card.
- In the unlikely event that you are not left a card then please telephone your local depot to check for your  item.
- Please note that we do all we can to get our items dispatch as soon as physically possible after puurchase and ask you to consider that once we release the item/s into the hands of the delivery services we CANNOT CONTROL or INFLUENCE in any way the speed of the delivery. If you are in a hurry to receive your item/s then we advise you to upgrade to a guaranteed/tracked service

Returns

Need to return your item? Don't Worry

In the event that you are not satisfied with any purchase from Golfbase, you may return unused goods, along with all original packaging and any labels within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange.

Return Exclusions

The following goods may not be returned for refund or exchange.

?	Packs of socks that have been split
?	Packs of gloves that have been split
?	Any socks, underwear or base layers that have been worn and are not in the original packaging 
?	Any device where the Warranty has been registered or additional software has been   downloaded.

?	Blister packs that have been opened.

Return shipping costs can only be refunded where we have sent the wrong goods in error. We recommend that you use a reputable courier (e.g. UPS) for larger items and Royal Mail Special/Recorded Delivery for smaller items. We cannot accept responsibility for the returned goods until a member of our staff has signed for receipt of the goods.
Please include in your return, your full contact details, including name & address, order ID number, eBay user ID, and daytime contact telephone number.

What happens next?

You now have three options:

?	SO THAT YOU RECEIVE THE REPLACEMENT GOODS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, WE RECOMMEND that you place another order online as soon as you know you will have to return the original goods. This means you will have what you need without unnecessary delay, rather than having to wait for the goods to reach us and be processed. If you choose this method you should request a refund for your original order when you send it back.

?	If you wish us to receive the return and process an exchange for you then please include the relevant information concerning the alternative goods required and this will be processed upon receipt. 
PLEASE NOTE  if you are a customer outside of the UK and your original item/s had a postage cost when sent out, you will need to cover that same cost for us to send the replacement item/s back out to you . You can pay us through paypal/personal cheque/credit or debit card. PLEASE NOTE, we hope you understand that due to the extra time required to process returns in this manner we charge a standard restocking fee of £2.50. Please enclose a cheque/cash with your return or send a paypal payment to the same email address as before to cover this. 

?	Finally, if you do not wish to place another order or exchange the goods and would just like a refund, then let us know and we will do this as soon as your order is received. 
Please Note: We cannot accept returns for second hand or custom fit items unless they were delivered faulty.

Faulty Goods

All goods come with a 12 month guarantee backed by the manufacturer. If an item is delivered faulty or becomes faulty through normal use then the following action needs to be taken:
In all cases we will require the customer to provide photo?s / images of the faulty item, along with the proof of purchase for that item. Based on the outcome of this we may require the item to be returned to us in whole or part, this is to try to reduce the postage costs for both parties. We will contact the relevant manufacturer in relation to the fault, who may at their discretion require an inspection of the item. The manufacturer reserves the right to offer a repair, replacement like for like or issue a credit voucher. They also reserve the right to return the faulty item if they feel there is no manufacturing fault.

For purchases under 30 days old we will cover the cost of the return of the faulty item where needed, for purchases 30 days ? under 12 months the cost of the return must be met by the customer.
In some cases where the manufacturer feels there is no manufacturing fault, they may offer to repair the faulty item at your cost, if you accept the offer you will be required to pay for the repair before we instruct the manufacturer to proceed.

Please retain any proof of posting, receipt or tracking number for any item returned as we cannot accept responsibility until a member of our staff has signed for receipt of the goods.
