Production of Night and Day Platinum is achieved using a complex process of lacquering chiseling and platinum plating. 4 layers of rich black lacquer applied to metallic base of the quadrangular pen. A wide stripe is chiseled, then delicately platinum-plated on two opposite sides of the pen. The vertical platinum stripes contrasting with the rich deep lacquer highlights Exception's unique and bold shape. Individual serial number engraved on cap button.
