That's why we have developed this state-of-the-art solar panel made of back-contact solar cells - the newest generation of solar cells which have significantly higher efficiency compared to standard solar cells (which means they extract more sunlight energy from the same area). The back-contact solar cells used in this solar panel have an unparalleled efficiency of up to 22% (!) making this solar panel the most efficient of its kind, and the smallest of all the solar panels with the same wattage commercially available in the world. The solar cells used in this panel have been manufactured in the USA using the newest production equipment and cutting edge technology. This 30W flexible solar panel is made of strong ETFE material which has a longer service life compared to standard semi-flexible solar panels. As a result, these particular flexible solar panels are extremely robust and less prone to cracking , delamination and corrosion. The lightly textured coating of this panel creates an anti-reflective surface which allows the panel to absorb a far greater amount of light, thereby increasing efficiency. ETFE material has long been used in applications where durability and high-temperature resistance is required, such as in the Eden Project, Cornwall. This high efficiency 30W flexible waterproof monocrystalline solar panel is perfect for permanent outdoor use to provide free electricity for charging 12V batteries to power various applications, such as in a motorhome, caravan, camper, boat, or for solar lighting systems, off-grid or back up solar power systems. The panel can also be used to provide a direct power supply for applications not sensitive to changes in input voltage / current (e.g. electric motors or pumps) and for various grid-tie applications.

Back-contact solar cells with efficiency of up to 22% make this panel ideal for applications where space is restricted, or where there are obstructions on the roof.

Other benefits:

  • Flexible design makes it ideal for curved roofs and surfaces where bonding is preferable (though the panel can also be fixed by bolts or screws)
  • The panel is incredibly light (only 0.96kg) which is great for all vehicles
  • High resistance to salt water environment and possibility to walk on the panel make it perfect for boats and yachts.

The panel is fitted with 2 x 0.9m of cable specially designed for solar panels to carry high currents with negligible power loss (2.5mm cross section). The cable comes with waterproof MC4 connectors which can be used for easy connectivity to your existing system, for linking several panels together or for connecting 2.5mm extension cable.

The long-lasting, highest efficiency back-contact monocrystalline solar cells will give you years and years of consistent, free power. Sealed waterproof design ensures the panel can be used in all weather conditions.

This flexible solar panel is normally fitted to a roof using a suitable sealant / adhesive (not included). It can also be screwed or bolted to the roof - holes of which can be drilled in the corners of the solar panel and sides where there are gaps between the solar cells.

Delivery:

  • Please note that import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. If the courier requires payment of these local charges to complete the delivery, they will be your responsibility as a buyer.
  • Upon receipt of the item, please examine it carefully. In an unlikely event of any damage in transit, please report it to us immediately by email or phone, but in any case not later than 7 days after receipt of the item. To enable us to deal with the courier efficiently, we might ask you for some additional details, e.g. photographs or the damage and packaging.

Returns:

  • If you change your mind in the first 30 days after receipt of the item, we will be happy to accept it back and refund your payment. You need to notify us via email / phone within 30 days of receipt that you intend to return the item, request the return address and send the item back within a further 14 days at your cost. To be eligible for a full refund, the item must be new, unused, undamaged and correctly packaged. Please do ensure we receive the item in the same perfectly new condition, e.g. take reasonable care to wrap it and protect on the way back to us.

Warranty:

  • This product is covered by a 1 year workmanship warranty. Solar cells are guaranteed to produce at least 90% of nominal power in 10 years and 80% of nominal power in 25 years.
