Up for sale is a WLA WWII inspired Harley bobber Build. This project has been a 4 year build in the making and has zero miles on the build. The hard tail frame and gas tank work was done by Led Sled custom. Various parts of the bike were fabricated by Cole rodgers of 138 cycles and Ed Crabtree of EC customs all of whom have had bikes in easy rider, The Horse and many other magazines. It has a 1200cc sportster drive train and has been built from the ground up complete with S&S shorty E carb with new heads and new 1200cc motor kit. It comes with one off hand bent exhaust, one off solid brass mirror, tattooed leather seat with several matching p-pads and pie shaped saddle bag. It also includes Milwaukee twins springer with Paughco Hollywood one piece handle bars with internal throttle and a custom made Frosted glass "Big Beam" halogen headlight converted from a 50's light made by UC light company. The wheels are 60 stainless spoke and black powder coated Soft tail Wheels wrapped with brand new tires. It has a black and olive drab scalloped paint sceme with ivory pinstripping and custom hand painted accents. The bike is called "Model number 40" and is inspired by the P-40 Warhawk Plane that flies behind the pinup girl tatooed on the seat. The seat has gas shocks wrapped in copper springs. The springer was taken apart and powder coated with olive drab springs and black forks with ivory pin stripping. This bike has been powder coated from head to toe as it was intended to be a display for my powder coating buisness. The knuckle style gas tanks with late 30's Brass sight gauges have been pocketed underneath to sit low and snug the motor and have hand made leather straps with nickle buckles incorporated into the tanks. It has a matching oil tank with brass sight glass. The Speedo is a WLA army speedo with actual bubble gauges incorporated into the cover from new old stock gauges from a 40's fighter plane. The air cleaner is a converted 1929 model A ford air cleaner made to fit the S&S carb with custom pinstripping with the words "model no. 40" on it. The ignition cover is a one off cnc'd cover that has a ford inspired V2 ingraved in the cover. Its also completely street legal with era styled turn signals and horn. I could go on and on about what is in the bike but you can see for yourself no expenses were spared. I have a few pictures to post and will have many more shortly. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will include free freight to the lower 48 states if the "Buy it now" option is used. This bike is also listed locally and i reserve the right to end the auction early if it is sold locally.
