BMW E90 Pre LCI Boot Lid Auto Open Kit


This listing is for a BMW E90 kit that "pops" the bootlid and aids the gas struts opening the boot to the fully open position.
This kit is designed to be used with the Origional BMW struts.

The kit comprises of a uniquely designed spring system, concealed behind Polished Stainless Steel covers resulting in an attractive and long lasting modification.

This kit also comes with step-by-step installation instrutions with model specific pictures for quick and easy installation.
No special tools or additional parts required - This kit will simply install onto your existing boot strut.

Note: Origional BMW gas struts use an over sized strut threads, supplied strut ends require cross thread installation.
Please check quality of existing struts and hinges before order stage. Hinges should be cleaned and oiled before installation.
Please note this kit has not been tested on bootlids with spoilers and may not function correctly due to the additional weight.
Cold climates can cause struts to become stiff which can hinder the bootlid opening to 100%.
Gas Struts are not supplied with this kit. If you require new gas struts please contact the seller.
