Note: This software runs on the Wouxun KG-UV8D Only and will Not add the 2.5kHz frequency step.
Connect the radio to your Windows PC with the proper programming cable.

The upper left corner of the screen will show 3 options.
Down Arrow
Used for Downloading the current frequency parameters.
Up Arrow
Used for  Uploading the new frequency parameters
The 3rd option is for selecting the USB cables Com port.

The example below shows what appears when Downloading the parameters from the UV8D set to the US ham band limits.

420.000 - 449.995MHz and 144.000 - 147.995 MHz

To expand the coverage of the UV8D to its maximum frequency range, change the parameters to those shown below.

Click on the Up Arrow box to Upload the new parameters to the UV8D. The radio will reboot after the upload.
