About us
At Vespa2 in Cairns Australia we restore classic scooters from the ground up.
We have over 40 years of experience in building and repairing Vespas.
(Dating back to the 70's when we were Mods in England).

Our aim is to restore Vespa's with the same appearance as when they left the factory in the 60's, but with the reliability of today's technology.
If you want to ride a reliable classic Vespa, this scooter is a great choice.

Our scooters are stripped to bare metal and painted in Glasurit 2 pack paint and then fully rebuilt with all new parts.
The engine is a brand new PX150 5 port reed valve, with electronic ignition, built and tested by Vespa2 in Cairns.
There is no compromise in what we do, if you want a great classic looking scooter, give us a call.
We are more than happy to build your dream scooter.

Don't be fooled by buying a cheap scooter from overseas !!

Do the sums:
  • Scooter sale  $3,000.00
  • Shipping           $500.00
  • Port charges    $900.00
  • Customs         $165.00

      Total                $4,565.00

Then work out the cost of the parts you will need to fix it:
  1. New engine   $1600.00
  2. Labor               $900.00
  3. Paint work     $1000.00
Total               $3500.00    on top of the scooter cost.

The total cost of your imported Vespa is now $8,000.00 plus and who is going to fix it when it goes wrong?
We back up our scooters and at any time you can call us to go over any questions

These are the facts, many Asian scooter restorers literally restore the Vespa to death.
They weld Vespa bodies together, the paint job won't last and they use inferior materials to repair or build engines, they even use 2 different crankcases one engine.
