TOP TIP
On purchase charge up your unit via USB until the red light goes solid. But then give it a week and do it again. We are finding that this prolongs the life of the unit.As of June of 2015 and several hundred units sold, feedback from customers has been fantastic. If you want to keep foxes at bay, frequency 2. Cats, frequency 3 (including small birds).
Always keep the sensitivity button 80% on. Try and make a nice space for the unit that hopefully gets some sunlight. It's best to avoid placing right under a tree.
If you do purchase, always charge via USB first. When red light stops flashing and turns solid red. The unit is ready for operation.
As a footnote, we have had some extensive relationships with customers trying to rid the garden of crows & pigeons. It is always a risk due to the nature of just being able to fly off. BUT buying 2 units and pointing them only slightly to the sky, seems to have done the trick for some customers with larger bird disturbances. The visitors got the message and decided to keep away.
Please, checkout our feedback.
We all want to make the best use of the back garden. Most folk are fine
with the odd visit from the neighbours cat. Foxes can be more problematic
especially when there is a disturbing news item.
From our own experience, cleaning up the "parcels" that rodent
visitors leave can make a person feel quite off-colour.
Step forward the AOSION SOLAR animal repeller.
We have tested this helpful piece of kit significantly and are now
satisfied to offer it up for sale. It works very efficiently. If you do suffer
with unwanted rodents, vermin or cats fouling the garden, this gadget is for
you. After 2 weeks the difference will be spectacular. No more getting out the
shovel to clean up. (Fox faeces can be particularly stomach turning)
The repeller does NOT harm the uninvited visitors. It emits a short
burst of ultra-sonic sound that tells the creature that they should avoid your
garden.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The sophisticated PIR detection system detects movement (similar to how
a security light is triggered). It has a range of up to 8 metres at an angle of
110 degrees. It is fully waterproof. The unwanted guests just do not like the
sound and learn to stay away.
3 X AA rechargeable batteries are included. The solar panel on top of the
device keeps the unit charged. It has a built-in low battery detector and a USB
cable for extra charging. Also included is a large spike for the bottom of the
unit. This enables the user to put the repeller into the ground. It can also be
mounted on a wall. Please also take a look at the instruction sheet.
After placing at one end of the garden, results will be clear after a
fortnight.
THE DEVICE
"Sens" (sensor) knob. Turn clockwise to increase the range of
protection.
"Freq" (frequency) knob.
1) 13.5khz-17.5khz is for mice and small rodents
2) 15.5khz-19.5khz foxes
3) 19.5khz-23.5khz cats
You shouldn't need to use settings 4 or 5.
NOTES
Try and keep the top of the unit exposed to the light. The spike for the
ground has a water safety line. Based on the PIR being triggered 10 times a
day, each charge should last a minimum of 2 months. Please give the unit a
charge before first use (the red light will flash and then go solid red when
batteries are fully charged).
