ANTIQUE 14" BISQUE HEAD SIMON & HALBIG 1079 CHILD DOLL

This lovely antique doll dates from approx. 1910. She has a bisque head, composition ball-jointed arms and legs, and composition body. Moulded into the back of her head is '1079 German Halbig S&H 5' She has lovely brown glass sleeping eyes that are in good working order, an open mouth with teeth, rosy cheeks and painted facial features. She has an old wig, which is partially stuck down. She is wearing a more modern white dress and bonnet with vintage undergarments and vintage white leather shoes. She has pierced ears with bead earings.
Condition: Overall in good condition, with some playwear consistent with age and use. Her wig is partially stuck down and is dishevelled. She is overall a little grubby and faded. There is some paint loss to her eyelids. There is some discolouration and paint scuffing to her body, and an area of paint loss to one knee. Her clothes are a little grubby with some fraying and her undergarments have some brown staining. Her shoes have some discolouration and wear.
